The real-live case of Francine Hughes, a Dansville woman who was acquitted of murder after she burned her abusive ex-husband alive, was made into a movie that sparked action. LSJ Media examined what has changed in how domestic violence cases are handled, told through the stories of individuals whose lives were affected by “The Burning Bed” and its aftermath. I produced the video and audio segments in the “Listen to their stories” section.
