Five years ago, Tresa Bonds’ quadruplets became just the fourth set ever delivered at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
Today, much has changed for the family, and much is the same.
Their household is still hectic. Even more so. There’s also Tyvon, who was born 16 months after the quads.
Tresa is now a single parent. The quads’ mother and father are no longer living together, and Tresa’s financial burden and the chaos of five children that includes quads is more challenging that ever.
Despite the hardships, Tresa said she remains thankful for her children, much as she was five years ago when the quadruplets were born prematurely and were still tiny babies on Thanksgiving Day.
